Since my last post I have been preparing for my trip like a maniac; getting travel vaccinations and malaria tablets, shopping, reading up on destinations, buying/comparing travel insurance, researching various cash/credit/debit card options, booking hostels, learning to use my new kindle, packing my bag and making endless mental lists. I've also had the horrible task of saying goodbye to work colleagues, family and friends. However, all the hard work was worth it as I finally feel prepared and ready to start visiting the places I've read so much about and imagined so vividly for the past 12 months.
My flight to Singapore is tomorrow (eeek!), and so all my future posts will be written on the road! Keep checking in and I will update as often as possible.
